Users of popular Google services like Google search, maps and weather are leaving a trail of breadcrumbs tracking their every movement.
Even if you turn off Google's location history option, the search giant is recording you on a minute-by-minute basis. Google says the location functions are clearly spelled out to users.
But those who want to stop Google from tracking them will have to dig through the settings to turn off “Web and App Activity.”
