Major Korean conglomerates are using 'blind recruitment' in various forms to avoid querying applicants about their personal background including schools or physical condition. Some firms, however, are doctoring the procedure to put their own spin on it. One example include a so-called 'Biking Challenge' to select talented people based on their capabilities rather than the regular job specifications. While another example is the "Wannabe Fashionata" exhibition where applicants write their own anonymous 500-word PR story and then receive blind interviews by registering relevant video files.
