While searching for the mysterious Planet X that some astronomers believe lurks on the edge of our solar system, researchers found an extremely distant object dubbed "the Goblin." The Goblin is located far beyond Pluto and orbits the sun in an oblong loop. It provides compelling evidence for the existence of Planet X. The discovery has been called something of a fluke because for 99% of its orbit, the Goblin is too faint to see.
