All 28 members of the U.S. women's soccer team has sued the U.S. Soccer Federation for gender discrimination. The federal class-action lawsuit accuses the federation of systemic gender-based pay discrimination. It alleges the women have conditions that are inferior to the men’s team, despite the fact that the women’s team has a better record. The discrepancies include paychecks, training and playing conditions, coaching, travel arrangements, and medical treatment. The U.S. Women’s National Soccer team has three World Cup titles and four Olympic Gold medals. It is the most-decorated team in international women’s soccer.
